I went to Washington D.C. last year with a club at my school. It was a long bus ride there and back. It is real hard to sleep on a bus. on the way back we hit a deer in the middle of the night. We got a tour of the whitehouse which eas cool. We also got a tour of the United States Capital Building. I saw different monuments like the Korean War monument. I also saw the original copy of the Declaration of Independence and other important documents.The Korean War monument is one of the neater ones' but i cant imagine what it must have cost to build. I had a great time. Here are some pictures I took at Washington D.C.
   
Devils Tower  
My family and I went to Devils Tower on are way to Yellowstone. It was a wierd rock, which Indians thought sacred. There are many stories that Indians teel about Devil's Rock and how it cam to be like the lines are from a bear clawing at it. One Indian legend says a giant bear made the scratch marks and the rock popped out of the ground under two boys saving them from the bear.  
   
Bear Country USA  
My family and i went to Bear Country USA when we were on our way to YNP. It was neat getting to see the wildlife up close.  
   
Mount Rushmore  
Mount Rushmore was a spectacular thing to see. It is a magnificant work of art. It is one thing that I am glad I have Done.
   
Yellowstone National Park  
My family and I went to Yellowstone NAtional Park. We went to every part of it and we rode some of the bike trails and we went on hikes. We saw lots of wildlife and scenery. We saw bears, Elk, Bison, Antelope, and more. We saw Old Faithful Erupt. That was awesome! We also saw alot of hot springs. We also had to survive the awful stinch of sulfer.  
   
Niagara Falls  
My family and I also went to Niagara Falls. We took a tour of a hydroelectric plant. We went a a tourist boat down at the bottom of the falls and got to look up at the falls. We aslo hiked down stairs and rough terrain and into a cave and got to look out into the waterfall from behind it. Niagara Falls is noisy. The United States side is horrible compared to the Canadian side. The Canadian Side is green with tons of plant. Canada also has the better view of the falls and there is more to do on the Canadian side.
   
I have aslo went to Daytona Beach Florida every year. We go there for Speedweek. I have been to the Daytona 500 and stay right on the beeach. During Speedweek old cars come and park on the beach.
