Model Trains
One of my intrests is Model Trains. I have a home layout that you can see a section of at left. It is an HO scale layout. I have been working on it for about four or five years. But it is still for the most part the Plywood Pacific. The picture though is of the best looking section. It is proably going to be based on the Union Pacific Railroad. The blue logo at left is a link to the web site for one the the model railroad magizines I get.

Lego's
I also enjoy Legos, though I like the old ones more than their current releases. I have a Lego town set up on a door. At left is a picture of the churcht. It is one of the things that I think I did the best on.

Reading
In what ever free time I have I also try to find time to read. Recently I completed reading Carl Sandburg's six-volume biography of Lincoln,  in which each of the volumes is at least 500 pages.  It took me a while but it was interisting. I now am in the middle of working on reading another, smaller, biography of Lincoln.

Music
I also play the piano, and have been taking lessons for about 5 1/2 years. In the past I have played percussion in band, and played in a bell choir. Both were fun and I would like to get back to doing them.

Pathfinders
Pathfinders is a organization similar to scouts that my church sponsors for boys and girl in grades 5-12, most of the kids are younger but their is a program to help high schooler become involed in the leadership of the club, that I am part of.  Recently I have completed teaching a honor in model railroading, I did it with the help one of the teacher here at Andrews Academy. It was fun but was a big learning experience.

This is part of my model train  layout. The engine is a Athern F7A.
