Position summary
Assistant Teacher for Infants in our Child Care Center, The Crayon Box.

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assists head teacher in supervision, management and executing of curriculum.
- Must demonstrate ability to work with children 1 month to 8 years of age.
- Assists in supervising and guiding student aides in the classroom.
- Assist head teacher in keeping state reports correctly completed.
- Assist with opening/closing the center as needed.
- Assist in a variety of jobs as outlined by lead teacher and/or director.
Supervisory responsibilities
Occasionally may be required to supervise Student Aides.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma.
- Must have a warm and friendly personality with sensitivity to the feelings and needs of both children and adults.
- Display a willingness to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the center's philosophy and mission.
- Job requires much physical activity and a high energy level.
- Experience in early childhood preferred, but not required.
- Must have a minimum of 4 -5 hour blocks available each day.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Work environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
