Position summary
Griggs International Academy is looking for an enrollment officer to manage recruitment and enrollment of K-12 students.
Qualifications summary
This position requires strong leadership, planning and organizational skills, and technical competencies (outlined below). To provide excellent customer service, the applicant must also have good verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, there may be times that duties performed may be sensitive and confidential in nature, thus the utmost confidentiality will be required.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage digital and paper records, and communication templates
- Communicate with Griggs International Academy applicants and prospective student interest by e-mail, letter and phone calls
- Process enrollment documents
- Counsel prospective students regarding academic services and financial options
- Assist in implementing the communication plan for Griggs International Academy applicants and prospective students
- Follow up with prospective students and online interests
- Report student needs and concerns to administration/K12 committee
- Other duties as assigned by Student Services Director and administration

Qualifications
Experience with Seventh-day Adventist education. College degree preferred.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Technical competencies
Must be knowledgeable of course management tools, databases and major software suites (Microsoft Office). Must have the ability to learn new software.
Interpersonal interactions
Must be able to work and communicate well with others in service of GIA customers.
Physical demands
Be able to work at a desk and focus on detail for several hours at a time.
Work environment
Normal office environment.
