Position summary

Graduate assistant position - a part-time position responsible to assist the deaprtment chair in department related assignments. Assignments may include creating electronic documents, designing and maintaining electronic files, assisting the chair and faculty in none teaching related activities.May be required to teach or assist in teaching AHA classes.

 

 

 

Qualifications summary

Good computer skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

Nursing knowledge and experience prefered

CPR Instructor certification prefered

 

Duties and responsibilities

Graduate assistant with computer skills to assist in designing and organizing department related electronic files.

Assist faculty in non-teaching assignments

Proctor students' examinations when needed

Assist the department chair with assigned department related jobs

Other assignemts as deemed necessary

Supervisory responsibilities

None

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and use technology adequately


• Ability to work as a team member

Technical competencies

Computer skills - word, excel, PowerPoint etc.

Webpage management a plus.

 

 

Interpersonal interactions

Must be comfortable interacting witth students, staff and faculty.

Physical demands

Must be able to move at least 20 pounds as in the use of manikins.

Work environment

• Work completed mostly in Marsh Hall, Andrews University
