Position summary
A web designer and developer is needed to develop and maintain a website for Andrews University Press and to create and update eBooks with
Scribe software and tools.

Applicant must have advanced knowledge and experience in web design and development as well as skills in the preparation of eBooks.

- Finish developing a website in process
- Maintain and update website as needed
- Prepare eBooks using Scribe software and tools

Qualifications
- Proven web design experience
- Proficiency in software/programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, SQL)
- Basic skills in graphic creation and editing (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Familiarity with E-commerce applications and basic knowledge of security principles
- Be adaptable and able to quickly pick up new techniques
- Possess analytical skills and able to creatively solve problems
- Know how to work and communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
- Patient with desire for accuracy
Technical competencies
