Position summary

The Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in the School of Health Professions is seeking an associate professor of Speech-Language Pathology to teach graduate and undergraduate level courses in Speech-Language Pathology.  

Qualifications summary

Research PhD in Speech-Language Pathology or its equivalent

Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC/SLP)

University teaching experience preferred

Commitment to team work and collegiality 

Excellent Interpersonal Skills

Technological proficiency (word, excel, powerpoint, interactive whiteboard, moodle)

PhD candidates and/or ABDs are welcome to apply


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in area(s) of expertise

Advise students, and direct student research

Provide service to the department, school and university as well as the field of speech-language pathology

Advise and mentor students

Participate in research/scholarly activities and service

Contribute to the continued development of the Master's Program in Speech-Language Pathology

Must be comfortable interacting with faculty peers and the community.
