STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER - Tutoring Services Manager

Position summary

Responsibile for managing the undergraduate tutoring services through the Academic Tutorial Support course.  This position is full-time during the school year (9 months - approximately 15 August to 15 May annually). Includes one evening per week 5-8 p.m. during semesters.

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

Manage tutor recruiting, hiring, training, supervision, scheduling, and overall quality by:   

Promotes UG Tutoring Services to the campus community
Serves as the professor of record for GNST091 Academic Tutorial Support class
Other tasks to support the Center and its staff (For example, serves as receptionist on occasion)

Supervisory responsibilities

Supervises student tutors

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Work environment

The office of theTutoring Services manager is away from the main lobby area, during peak times the manager may meet students in the main office area
