Position summary
The student worker will assist in video production and editing as needed for Andrews University Distance Student Services.

Duties and responsibilities
- Learning Adobe Creative Cloud software to create quality videos
- Assist in videography, including screen capture and creating visuals to illustrate procedural scripts
- Work with student service departments to update videos
- Assist in scheduling video sessions and editing scripts prior to sessions
- Work with the senior video editor on any projects as assigned

Technical competencies
Must possess excellent skills in interpersonal communication, oral and written English, Microsoft Office software and internet applications. A strong sense of time management is essential. Experience creating and editing videos is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to read and interpret numeric and alpha data sources. Able to write emails and edit scripts in good English. Articulate and pleasant oral communication in clearly understandable English required.
REASONING SKILLS
Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Interpersonal interactions
Must be comfortable interacting with team members as well as those being videod, to create a calm, low-stress video work environment. Must be able to ask for help when needed.
