Position summary
Works along with the other members of the shift to ensure that it runs smoothly by doing what is necessary and what is instructed by the manager on duty.

Duties and responsibilities
Works as a sub line prep worker which includes setting up the sub station, making sub sandwiches and locating product for the sub station.
Works as a grill prep worker which includes setting up the grill area, making grill items and locating product so the area is properly stocked.
Prepares breakfast items and ensures that there is product available so that the production of these items can occur.
Stocking the Gazebo where necessary and when instructed
Cleans and sanitizes work area and sweeps, mops and vacuums the floors.
Keeps coolers and freezers clean and organized
Practices proper rotation of product (First In, First Out)
Takes out trash as needed during and at the end of the shift
Follow HCCAP Food Safety program
Do other work as requested by supervisor
Cooperate with supervisor in adjusting job duties as circumstances require

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability speaks, read, and write in English. Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee comes in contact with the standard Food Service equipment but not limited to the following: freezers, refrigerators, storage area, slicers, grills and cooking kettles. Exposed to extreme heat in cooking environments and extreme cold in freezers and coolers. Moves equipment inside and outside in all weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Personnel in the Food Service Industry must be able to stand for long hours. Peaks of high production are demanded both daily and seasonally, depending on job location.
