Position summary
Under the guidance of the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, assists in the admissions process of freshman domestic and international students.

Duties and responsibilities
Admissions
- Assist with the tracking and processing of the undergraduate admissions process
- Becomes familiar with the various admissions requirements
- Participates with assigned admissions activities as they relate to the needs of the prospective students
- Actively works to make sure data integrity is being completed
Communication
- Documents needed to process application
Supervisory responsibilities
Some possible supervisors responsibilities for admissions student workers when needed by the Director of UG Admissions.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree required. Previous experience in enrollment office settings and with admissions and international student admissions processes preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Able to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures or governmental regulations. Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Technical competencies
Able to use effectively and efficiently the basic Microsoft suite as well as able to quickly learn and use the CRM - Recruit and relative interactions within Banner. Able to communicate effectively and professionally by phone and email.
Interpersonal interactions
Able to work effectively with excellent customer service skills with all constituencies include prospective students and their parents, student workers, the Enrollment team, and people from academic and support departments across campus.
