CHILDRENS LEARNING CENTER - Morning Classroom Assistant - Spring Semester

Position summary

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible individual to help assistant our teachers.  Must love children.  May be assigned to work with a various ages and in multiple classrooms.

Must have availability from 8:00-12:30 at least 3 days each week.

Applicants must be current students of Andrews University

Must be comfortable interacting with parents and teachers.

Must love children.

Physical demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and taste or smell.  The employee is occasionally required to sit.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Will push lunch cart to the cafeteria and back daily in various weather conditions.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.

Work environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
