Position summary
- Teach a full load of courses in pastoral care, counseling
- Advise and provide mentorship to Seminary students
- Provide spiritual, and therapeutic counseling services to seminarians
- Direct the psychological screening of applicants to Seminary
- Provide advocacy and leadership in the area of pastoral care and counseling to the Seminary community
- Participate in Seminary and University life and carry regular faculty responsibilities related to teaching, service, research, publication, and administration.
Qualifications summary
- An earned doctoral degree in the area of mental health services
- Licensed to provide psychological services
- Experience in the practice of pastoral ministry
- Graduate-level teaching expertise preferred
- Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and/or Certified Family Life Education (CFLE) certification desirable
- A record of academic engagements and publications
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Duties and responsibilities

Supervisory responsibilities
Will supervise the process of psychological testing and personal counseling including the securing of confiddential records.
