Duties and responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
a. Attend Proximity Vespers every week and function as worship coordinator.
b. Recruit and mentor Proximity Vespers volunteer coordinators
c. Lead teams of volunteer coordinators
d. Attend weekly Proximity Vespers Team Meetings
e. Attend weekly Proximity Vespers Core Team Meetings
f. Attend Campus Ministries training and retreat
g. Attend Monthly Campus Ministries team meetings
Additional, secondary responsibilities will be assigned by the Assistant Chaplain. S/he will look to the most current Campus Ministries organizational chart to find specific responsibilities for oversight/ mentoring/ supervision.

Qualifications
Expectations in Ministry
1. The Student Chaplain is expected to attend all meetings called by the University Chaplain or listed on the Campus Ministries organizational chart.
2. Programming quality will be evaluated weekly
a. Is the mission and vision of Proximity Vespers clear to both the coordinators and participants?
b. Quality of programming is being evaluated by student leadership.
3. The Student Chaplain is expected to seek excellence in every program and responsibility. They are responsible to execute and/or supervise programs under his/her direct line.
4. The Student Chaplain is expected to establish a positive working relationship with the larger Campus Ministries team.
