Position summary
The position of
Social Media Student Chaplain is responsible for promoting and documenting the events and experiences of the Campus Ministries Department. This will include building a systematic approach to collecting content and interacting with followers.
Qualifications summary
Must be a student at Andrews University.
Duties and responsibilities
The
Student Chaplain of Social Media should be available a minimum of 5 hours a week to regularly meet with the lead Chaplain and facilitate the objectives assigned for completion.
Supervisory responsibilities
None
Qualifications
Market upcoming events on Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook
Post HD content (Video, Video Clips, Digital Posters, Photographs, etc.) consistently and frequently on
Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook
Design Digital content appropriate for assigned ministry
Edit Photography and Video Content as needed
Technical competencies
Requisite Skills
Graphic Design, Photography, Videography
Initiative is essential for documentation and consistent posting
Vigilance is essential for documenting “special moments.”
Interpersonal interactions
Must be comfortable leading and interacting with students.
