Position summary
Primary responsibility is sales for major accounts, with additional responsibilities including customer service, estimating, software file preparation and bindery.
Qualifications summary
Requirements include good communication skills, detail oriented and must be proficint in InDesign and Excel software.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Duties and responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sales: Actively encouraging new sales opportunities with existing and new customers. Developing new sales will include pursuing new business with existing customers and calling and possibly visiting potential new customers.
*Major Customer Service Account Manager
Responsible for key group of large customer base. This involves all aspects of the Work Order Entry Process listed below.
*Work order entry process
- Accept detailed customer orders.
- Review and write down specifications.
- Estimating costs for all work center areas and all supplies.
- Review of history to ensure consistent pricing.
- Order entry in Print Smith Program,
- Answer the phone.
Customer Service: Responsible for a core group of customers, this involves being the key contact for them, accepting orders, obtaining necessary information to quote on their needs, providing them with quotes, writing up job tickets, occasional ordering and purchasing of materials at the best possible price and helping in bindery as needed. Also, responsible for contacting the customer as necessary and addressing their complaints and resolving problems.
*Computer Graphics
- Assist customers with their computer files
- Help design/layout the customers work as needed
- Prepare files for printers
- Fully understand and assist schools with their yearbook software
Supervisory responsibilities
None
Qualifications
*Fluent in English
*Associates degree or above preferred
*Typing skills 35 words or more
*Software: InDesign and Excel
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Technical competencies
*InDesign and Photo Shop- must be able to design flyers, brochures and prepare files for production.
*Excel- create spreadsheets for calculating costs of manufacturing
Interpersonal interactions
The individual must enjoy working with people over the phone and in person. Excellent commuication skills to be able to acquire necessary information to develop pricing, writing up orders and resolving problems. This position also requires a comfort with being interrupted while being able to keep track of may details and deadlines.
Physical demands
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
Work environment
Majority of the time will be spent in the office at a desk.
