CHILDRENS LEARNING CENTER - Afternoon Caregiver/Teacher

Position summary

We are looking for a dedicated, responsible and creative individual who love children to help care for the infants in our center. You will be involved in all aspects of caring for children ranging in age from 2 weeks - 12 years.   Looking for an individual (non-student) to work a minimum of 16 hours a week and be available 2 pm - 6 pm Monday - Thursday.

Physical demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and taste or smell.  The employee is occasionally required to sit.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  May be assigned to push lunch cart to the cafeteria and back daily in various weather conditions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.

Work environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
