Position summary
Working under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services, this position will work closely with the Chairs of the Schools/department within CHHS and University Marketing and Enrollment Chief Officer to achieve annual enrollment goals.
Qualifications summary

Duties and responsibilities
- Develop & execute research/evidence based short & long-range recruiting and marketing plans that are measureable for all the academic units within CHHS based on financial, demographic and target market factors.
- Attend AU Enrollment meetings, as assigned
- Maintain a spreadsheet of prospective students and applicants.
- Actively participate in Preview events and all similar on-campus events planned by Enrollment Office. Must be comfortable giving presentations in front of larger groups of students and parents
- Organize and participate in college recruitment tours and Career Fairs (offsite and onsite) - Adventist, Christian, community college and major transfer schools. This includes a fall tour of all NAD Adventist colleges, selected regional public and private colleges, and SDA Academies (Academy Career Day).
- Keep website and social media updated and checked to ensure information is correct and appealing, as well as responding to any questions asked by virtual visitors
- Keep in constant contact via emails/ text messages/ phone with all prospective undergraduate and graduate students (accepted, applicants, and recruits) so as to encourage them to attend Andrews or to complete an application.
- Establish and maintain relationships with resource (health care and design) professionals and other key supporters within the community.
- Foster relationships with advisors at feeder schools (SDA, Christian and community)
- Manage prospective students and develop ongoing programs to nurture candidates toward enrollment.
- Conduct qualified applicant interviews according to the requirements of various professional programs in close consultation with department chairs.
- Any other tasks as requested by the Dean of the College of Health & Human Services.
- Develop a comprehensive annual marketing & recruiting budget.
- Prepare activity and financial reports of recruiting endeavors.
- Direct prospective students and families to the appropriate student financial advisor in Student Financial Services for financial information including scholarships, grants, loans and payment options.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing & Enrollment Management (MEM) team.
- Consult with AU’s Chief Marketing Officer for the development of marketing plans and resources.
- Collaborate programs with CHHS and MEM to develop marketing materials that will assist in on the road and campus-based recruiting activities.

Qualifications
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree with two years of work experience in health professions marketing/recruitment, student recruitment/enrollment or related area, preferred

- Manifest leadership and people skills including: conflict resolution and the ability to advise, guide and provide instruction

- Travel for extended periods of time and use personal car when necessary
- Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software

Technical competencies
- Proficient in current office management and presentation software.
- Create visual presentations, Prezi preferred
- Graphic design skills preferred (photo shop, web design)

Physical demands
- Travel on off-campus trips multiple times per year
- Independent global travel ability

Work environment
