Position summary
The editorial assistant will be participating in many stages of book production, especially assisting in detailed tasks on individual manuscripts. Applicant must be a qualified, full-time student at Andrews University.

Applicant must have superior communication skills with an avid interest in biblical scholarship and book production (prerequisite: ENGL 215 or equivalent).

- Knowledge of the rules of grammar
- An interest in biblical scholarship
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to spend long periods of time on a single task but also regularly switch between multiple projects
- Reliability and dependability in meeting a daily schedule
Technical competencies
- Experience with track changes in Microsoft Word
- Basic knowledge of the InDesign program would be helpful
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat
Interpersonal interactions
Must be able to work collegially in an office setting with other immediate associates
