Position summary
Online Course Builders work in the Center for Digital Learning and Instructional Technology to provide careful detailed work building online courses. Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions are essential. There may be times that duties preformed may be of sensitive and confidential nature, thus the utmost confidentiality will be required. Online Course Builders report to the DLiT Director.

Duties and responsibilities
- Detailed work building LearningHub spaces for undergraduate online courses
- Convert word processing lessons to HTML web pages
- Convert course quizzes and tests to an online format
- Processing of other media and materials for online learning
- Other duties as assigned

Work environment
The Department of Digital Learning and Instructional Technology is a fast-paced, collaborative work environment. We are always learning from each other, sharing ideas, giving feedback, and celebrating successes. The DLiT office is a semi-open space with moderate noise. Customers come and go, receiving assistance from multiple team members. Multiple meetings with customers may occur in a semi-open space at the same time.
