Position summary
Institutional Effectiveness is looking for a graduate student to provide clerical support and assist with processing both quantitative and qualitative data. Applicant must be able to work 10-20 hours per week during the school year, and summers.
Qualifications summary
Good organizational skills; detail-oriented; good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.); dependability and confidentiality a MUST; ability to work summers.
Duties and responsibilities
Assisting the Data Analyst with preparing letters and reports, categorizing and processing qualitative and quantitative data, checking website links, updating reports for website, scanning paper surveys, filing, archiving.

Qualifications
- Must be a current Andrews University student. Graduate Student preferred
- Organizational skills
- Detail-oriented (accuracy and consistency are priorities)
- Skilled at using technology
- Good written communication
- Dependability and confidentiality
- Ability to work summers and breaks
- Length of stay - 1 year minimum, longer is highly desired
Technical competencies
- Able to create and maintain multi-sheet spreadsheets, graphs, & tables
- Competent in Word and PowerPoint
- Able to learn new software
Interpersonal interactions
Must be comfortable working with others and accepting direction
Physical demands
Must be able to type and use a computer, and to lift 30 pounds
Work environment
Occasional low level machine (scanner) noise and air conditioning noise.
