CHILDRENS LEARNING CENTER - Kitchen Manager

Position summary

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible individual to manage the kitchen in our child care center. This position will be involved in all aspects meal distribution (breakfast, lunch and snack) and washing the dishes for the center.  No meal preperation is involved.  



Proof of background check, finger printing, first aid, CPR and additional job related trainings are required.
Commitment to work 5 days per week Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 1:30 pm (1:00 pm on Fridays)

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Physical demands

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting,

carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and

significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 25% walking, and 70% standing. The job is performed under

some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.  
Ability to wear a mask at all times while at work under the current guidelines of The State of Michigan is required.

Work environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
