Position summary
Title III Grant Activities Coordinator work under the direction of the project Director, the task force team and the Distance Education Technology Team and will Coordinate the post-award administration of Title III grant. He/She will collect data and analyze it by using Campus Lab Solution software or other software as appropriate. Will also work on day-to-day developmental education activities as proposed in the (US Department of Education) USDOEd grant to accomplish the goals and objectives listed in the grant. This position is a five-year appointment based on external funding.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors (BA or BS).
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent communication skills with mastery of spoken and written English.
REASONING ABILITY
Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Duties and responsibilities
- Serves as a liaison between Project Director and Title III Task Force and Department of Education Title III grant staff.
- Develops and maintains specialized databases and systems for recording and tracking grant proposal, and related statistical information; creates and distributes standard and special reports, summaries, and analyses, as required. Collects and analyzes data using Campus Lab Solutions software.
- Develops electronic survey tools for Title III grant activities
- Familiar with Federal grant working policies
- Prepares and compiles all components of grant submission, ensuring that the proposal is formatted, packaged, and submitted in accordance with granting agency requirements.
- Monitors and coordinates the administration of the grant to ensure that budgeting and administrative policies, procedures, and agency requirements are followed; manages administrative problems and/or budget changes occurring during the awarded granting period.
- Coordinates, organizes and delivers and/or facilitates workshops, seminars, and other training services.
- Purchases equipment and/or services, as necessary, and ensures the proper usage and maintenance of materials and equipment relevant to unit activities.
- Develops and maintains records and databases on student and program activities, materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Collect and analyze student response on placement tests including information on the number of students who bypassed remedial courses and accumulated credit hours for graduation,
- Analyzes data to determine the efficiency of campus-wide student success initiatives
- Any other duties as assigned by the Project Director.
- Coordinates and oversees the cohort-based education processes to Native American students.
- Develop tools to assess the effectiveness of enhanced advisement on retention, improved grades, graduation and placement rates.
