Position summary

Assist the RESA Physics professor with grading homework, in-class worksheets, labs, tutoring, exam proctoring, and grading.

Qualifications summary

Must have successfully completed both semesters of General Physics or Physics for Scientists and Engineers.

Duties and responsibilities

Grade homework.

Set up, assist with, and grade bi-weekly labs.

Assist with answering questions during in-class worksheet time; grade the worksheets.

Proctor exams.

Run one (2 hr max) evening help session per week.



Hours and dates



In class: 12:25-14:10 (TRF)

Outside of class: Grading, tutoring, and lab setup

Total weekly hours: 12-14



First semester classes begin on August 31 and end on December 17.



Due to scheduling, it may be necessary to make scheduling accommodations with the person who accepts this position.

Qualifications

Must have successfully completed both semesters of either General Physics or Physics for Scientists and Engineers and be recommended by the professor.
