Position summary
The department of Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum is seeking an individual that is pro-active and organized to apply for the Administrative Assistant’s position. This individual will be responsible for keeping our social media, websites and Bulletin current, initiating academic proposals, and performing basic clerical and receptionist duties. This individual needs to have experience with programs such as Word and Excel. This individual will also organize, implement, and manage student recruitment information and plans.

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for keeping our social media, websites and Bulletin current
- Responsible for iinitiating academic proposals
- Performing basic clerical and receptionist duties.
- Organize, implement, and manage student recruitment information and plans.
- Support for the departmental events (new students’ orientation, summer institute, TLC Conference, etc.)

Qualifications
- Punctuality and dependability
- Strong organizational and people skills
- Knowledge of graduate level practices
- Two years minimum professional experience in education and/or office areas
- A good knowledge of a variety of computer applications programs including word processing and Microsoft Office applications
- An ability to make decisions and keep confidentiality
- Must communicate well and be able to problem-solve, evaluate and prioritize
