Position summary

Our Program offers BSE in Chemical Engineering, Electrical, Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.  Faculty will teach courses in computer engineering, advise students and participate in university committees.

Qualifications summary

The successful candidate will qualify in terms of their excellence in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or closely related field.  Teaching and research will be characterized by collegiality, ethical behavior, committment to student engagement and siritual nurture.


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities


  1. Teach courses (Lecture and Labs) each semester, within the prescribed curriculum (lad according to policy).

  2. Establish a productive research program - preferably including undergraduate students and publish findings in professional journals.

  3. Academic, Professional, Career and Co-Curricula advising and recruitment.

  4. Serves on faculty committees.

  5. Participate in the development and accreditation of academic programs.



Supervisory responsibilities

Supervising research, teaching, learning and laboratory assistants.

Physical demands

While preforming the duites of this job, the employee will be responsible for carrying, handling, and operating a computer, laboratory equipment, and teaching technolgoy equipment.  Must have the ability to efficiently access information in references and texts, prepare and present lectures, and lead out and participate in group discussions and work.  Visual demands regulary include close work.

Work environment
