Position summary
The Global Leadership Institute Program Coordinator must have a well-rounded collection of technical, budgeting and communications skills. He or she must be well-organized and collaborative with the ability to anticipate team needs.

Academic Qualifications

Minimum academic requirement: Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred.

Candidates with academic background in Leadership preferred.
Previous Experience

Preferred: Experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Manager.

Preferred: Experience with online learning environments.

Preferred: Experience with project management.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Duties and responsibilities
-
Develops & manages the administrative functions of the Global Leadership Institute (GLI).
-
Develops & maintains a database of participants and graduates of GLI programs.

Develops, maintains, and updates the GLI website(s) and other resource and marketing materials.

Is responsible for the administration of the GLI programs and conferences including:

Preparation (e.g., registration, materials, etc.)
-
Sending and compiling the results of program surveys.

Coordinating the certificates and other degree programs (e.g., in collaboration with the Leadership Program)

Assists GLI’s virtual face-to-face Zoom meetings

Prepares detailed information and marketing material for the different GLI programs.

Coordinates and assists in recording and producing video interviews as well as the organization of the online resource library.

Stays in connection with all GLI partners and partner organizations.

Keeps track of all GLI activities and prepares the annual GLI reports.

Manages and tracks the budget, income, expenses, and financial statements of the GLI

And other tasks as assigned
Supervisory responsibilities
Manages the internal administrative functions of the Global Leadership Institute (GLI) and supervises all contractual with the General Conference, divisions, fields, and partner institutions; Andrews University schools, departments, faculty, and student workers; and other off-campus entities who are served by or support the GLI.
Qualifications

Minimum academic requirement: Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred.

Candidates with an academic background in Leadership are preferred.
This job requires a variety of skills typical of a virtual enterprise office.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Technical competencies

Adept at using office and communications technologies with a variety of software applications.

Able to set up virtual meeting and learning spaces using Zoom and other collaboration software as well as the technical aspects of virtual conferences.

Able to manage applications GLI uses to create virtual learning, broadcast, and community spaces (i.e.: LeadLab Network).

Possesses strong time management skills and works well in a deadline-driven environment.

Highly organized with attention to detail.

Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

Physical demands
- The job requires face-to-face meetings or working virtually on a computer which can be done sitting or standing.
- Working sometimes with people in other time zones globally at odd hours of the day or night is part of the job.
- Some travel may be required as the Institute resumes face-to-face learning in different parts of the world as post covid-19 conditions may allow.
- Some aspects of the job will require handling of technical equipment such as lighting, camera equipment or adjusting chairs for meetings, video sessions, or podcasts. No heavy lifting is typically required.
Work environment
- The work environment is a typical office environment generating moderate noise levels (printer noise, staff conversations).
- In the field, various situations may be encountered during travel within the US or worldwide.
