Position summary
The School of Nursing is seeking a creative, articulate and, organized student worker or graduate assistant to join our team!
Qualifications summary
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have strong interpersonal communication skills and be skilled with managing social media. They are to be dependable, have an eye for detail and be comfortable with Microsoft Office and Excel. They will be comfortable with multitasking and prioritizing.
Duties and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities will include assisting the team with short term projects for faculty and staff, assisting with social media posts, improving existing Access Databases, collecting and organizing existing data and assisting with creating Excel reports.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate needs to be able to type at a moderate speed with high accuracy, be able to organize, have strong interpersonal skills and have a good knowledge of Excel, Adobe, Microsoft Word

Friendly. Self Starter. Independent and self driven while being able to pay attention to detail; strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to articulate and clarify when additional clarity is needed to get the work done.
Physical demands
Occasionally assist faculty and staff with lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying department furniture (desks, tables, chairs) and supplies up to 50 pounds
Work environment
- Primarily quiet office environment
- Sometimes experience a more lively setting during department events where they’ll assist with set up, break downs, etc.
