Position summary
This position requires the assistant to review incoming international and domestic transcripts and various credentials, to track and forward them as appropriate to the International Credential Office for analysis, to Academic Records for articulation, and to scan documents into Recruit and Vault for archives. Should be able to multi-task between various clerical activities relating to prospective undergraduate and graduate students. Successful applicants will demonstrate ease in communicating and relating to people in person, by phone, text and email.
Qualifications summary
General office experience desired. Excellent phone and computer skills. Database skills helpful. Ability to work independently and follow complex instructions. Sales qualities, i.e., pleasant, welcoming, friendly, helpful. Reliable to keep to assigned work schedule. Must be currently enrolled as a graduate student.
Duties and responsibilities
- Scan and upload documents, process transcripts and other data entry duties.
- Assist Undergraduate Enrollment Counselors and Graduate Enrollment Coordinators in diverse enrollment tasks, especially tracking transcripts and credential documents.
- Provide a friendly voice by phone or email to assist prospective students and academic programs with questions, concerns and requests regarding admissions documents.
- Other enrollment projects as assigned.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to use or willingness to learn Banner and Recruit is preferred.
- Independent worker, able to take initiative.
- Detail oriented, ability to pay prodigious attention to details.
- Reliable in keeping to work schedule, and fast learner.
