Position summary

This person will be hired to do research in many areas of the church as we get grants for research at the NAD and the GC level of the church. This will be a one year position and then reevaluated for additional time on Dec. 31, 2023

Qualifications summary

• Personal passion for Seventh-day Adventist Christian higher education with a belief in the mission, principles and values Andrews University promotes.


• Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred. Two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and expertise will be considered in reasearch.

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage selected research projects


• Involved in email communications/ICM administration


• Analyzing data to write reasearch reports


• Contribute to the findings dissemination


• Other as assigned

 

Supervisory responsibilities

None

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s required and Master’s Degree and prior experience in accreditation strongly preferred.


• Advanced verbal and (graduate level) written English skills required.


• Detailed oriented with good analytical/research abilities


• Able to organize multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks


• Must work independent of supervision and adhere to deadlines without prompting

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
