Position summary
Graduate Assistant for Marketing will assist the Operations Coordinator in activities related to marketing and recruiting for the Postprofessional Physical Therapy programs.
Qualifications summary
Qualified applicants should have experience with marketing and/or public relations as well as social media marketing efforts.
Duties and responsibilities
Assist Operations Coordinator with the following:
- Social media outreach and research
- Overall marketing plan for the department
- E-mail outreach for department
- Advertisement and brochure design
- Taking photos and video of department events
- Other office duties as needed
Supervisory responsibilities
None
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or public relations preferred
- Prior experience with marketing and/or public relations efforts
- Social media marketing experience with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
- Graphic design experience preferred
- Basic office skills (knowledge of Microsoft products, etc.)
Technical competencies
- Able to navigate various social media sites
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
- Knowledge of Microsoft products
Interpersonal interactions
Must be comfortable working with professionals as well as students, both in person and in written communication.
Physical demands
Must be able to sit and use computer in a normal office setting, as well as able to move throughout department and around campus for special assignments.
Work environment
Job is primarily conducted in an office or classroom setting
