COMPUTING - Administrative Assistant

Position summary

To provide administrative and office support for the Department of Computing, by handling and managing a variety of tasks required in helping the office to function at a high level of efficiency and professionalism.  Able to analyze and organize office operations and procedures such as bookkeeping, information management, assessment documents, manage meeting minutes, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services; financially manage school purchases and expenses, manage social media; assist in planning school events; assists in coordinating items for accreditation; other duties as assigned by the Chair. 

Qualifications summary

BS or HS with experience.  

Computer skills, excellent communcation skills, and people skills.

Office software knowledge is required.


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

Physical demands

The physical demands are not limited to/but may include; minor lifting of packages, office activities, (such as typing, writing, organizing) as well as copy-machine supplies, class room supplies, etc...Listening, presenting, occasionally walking to and attending meetings across campus, are part of the physical demands of this position.
