FINANCIAL RECORDS - Financial Records Associate

Position summary

This position is responsible for a varity of duties in support of Travel and Expense and other operational functions of the Financial Records Department.  Duties include:

Corporate Card Administrator

Chrome River Software support specialist 

Accounts Payable Support

Running daily/weekly  processes and performing approvals.

General Office duties in support of Financial Fecords including, but not limited to, machine mainteance, supplies ordering, and answering general insquiries from customers. 

Qualifications summary

Must have good customer services skills. 

Must be well organized and able to organize and prioritize various tasks to complete work with varied deadlines.   

Must be comfortable with computers and learning new software. Ability and willingess to read and follow instructions.  

Some experience with business and accounting processes preferred. 


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

Responsible for general office duties like mail distribution, supplies ordering, machine maintenance, addressing general department inquiries and directing/assisting walk up traffic etc.

-Corporate credit card dministrator

-Accounts Payable (ACH/WIREs/Zero/general back-up)

-Responsible for misc AR posting

-Social coordinator

-Chrome River user assistance and CR Approvals

-Employee exit checklist

-Assist department with training and general communication of departmental information, processes or policies as the need arises.

Other duties as assigned

Supervisory responsibilities

Possibility of supervision of students in performing some of the duties. 

Qualifications

Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite products including  Excel.

Previous experience with business and accounting processes preferred.

Technical competencies

General usage of Excel.

Ellucian Banner Experince Preferred. 

Interpersonal interactions

Must have good customer srvices skills.  Comfortable interacting with general public on a regular basis. 

Physical demands

Should be able to perform normal office functions.
