CONVENTION ADMINISTRATION - Stu-Cust Guest Housng/Conv Svs
Responsible for maintaining and cleaning 21 hotel style guest rooms and their areas.
Ability to work alone and maintain productivity
Ability to lift and carry dirty laundry up to 50lbs
Duties and responsibilities
Clean empty guest rooms and prepare them for next guest to arrive.
Service occupied rooms and respond to guest needs
Wash and care for soiled linens from guest rooms
Communicate with reservation desk and supervisors the readiness of each guest room and any problems or maintenance needs
Other duties as assigned
Monitor guest room supplies and notify supervisor of order needs
Report any maintenance issues to appropriate maintenance personnel.
Requires good eye sight
Ability to notice small particles of dirt
Knowledge of cleanliness and disinfectants
Able to learn guest and convention software program
Must be comfortable in using computers
Must be comforable interacting with every guest of the University
Able to understand and communicate with guests to meet their needs and requests
Able to work alone and with team members
Must be able to life 50lbs
Able to stand and walk long hours
Able to bend an dkneel for cleaning purposes
Work will be in bathroom areas, guest rooms, laundry facilities, and other areas as requested.
