Position summary

This position will work directly with the chair on state/university assessment, state/NAD/CAEP accreditation and literacy/special education research.  Weekly office will be needed to support the agendas that have been established.  This position will include working with data, gathering information for reports, researching topics and working with the SED assessment/accreditation committee (attending their meetings monthly). This position may include additional duties that support the chair.

The qualifications for this position are strong organizational skills,  punctual, consistent, understands and respects confidentiality.  The ability to be proactive and have follow through with assignments. Knowledge working with excel is a requirement.

Duties and responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities include helping to provide information for reports through established data bases or inputting new information to the data bases.  Working with the accreditation and assessment committee as well as the chair on projects/reports. Providing information from research as needed to establish benchmarks and support for reports. Maintaining a consistent schedule throughout the week.

Qualifications for this job are consistency of hours, punctuality of assignments being completed, communication to the chair and committee of questions, confidentiality of information.  The ability to use excel spreadsheets to organize and manage data and complete scholarly searches for supporting information.

Physical demands

Must be able to lift 20 lbs (some tasks may include carrying items).

Work environment

Physical Environment-In the department of School of Education, space will be provided as well as computer (not laptop) to access data in the FA office.  Access to printers and programs for the purpose of the position.
