Position summary
The Coordinator for Undergraduate Advising will work with the Program Director of First-Year Experience to assist in the implementation of institution-wide programming designed to support undergraduate students. Additional responsibilities include advising undeclared students.

Duties and responsibilities
- Advising
- Advise first-year students as needed and assist academic departments in the onboarding of new students.
- Coordinate the assignment of faculty and staff advisors at the undergraduate level.
- Assist in yearly advisor training
- Coordinate summer registration campaign for undergraduate students
- Work with college-level deans to ensure timely registration of all new students
- Program coordinator for the Explore Andrews Program
- Pre-College Services
- Assist in the advising of Main campus high school students
- Assist in the recruiting and planning of summer programs
- Act as the program director for the Explore Andrews Summer Camp
- Communicate with new students beginning at the point of admission.
- Communications
- Maintain office web pages and social media pages as needed.
- Communicate with new students beginning at the point of admissions.
Supervisory responsibilities
Position supervises student workers.
Position supervises summer staff contracts for the yearly registration campaign.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience: Must have at least 2 years of experience in student services, counseling, or a related field. Preferred fields include enrollment management, academic advising, undergraduate programming, or pre-college programs.
