Position summary

Tenure-track faculty position in mathematics with teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities beginning in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. The faculty in the Department of Mathematics & Physics place high value on collegiality and teamwork as they work for the best interests of the students. Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

Carry regular faculty responsibilities related to teaching, scholarship, and service.

Teach a broad range of undergraduate mathematics courses, including general education courses and upper-level courses for math majors.

Mentor students, supporting them academically and spiritually.

Advise math majors.

Maintain an active research agenda and engage undergraduate students in research.

Contribute to the university dialogue in faculty meetings and on committees.

Supervisory responsibilities

Supervise graders and/or teaching assistants for courses.
