ACADEMY GENERAL - IT/AV Media Technician

Position summary

The IT/AV Media Technician supports the mission of Andrews Academy and Ruth Murdoch Elementary School education by providing reliable technology services, audiovisual/media support, and digital communication management. This role ensures that faculty, staff, and students have the technical resources and assistance needed to foster effective teaching, learning, and school operations. This is a full-time (40 hrs. per week) position shared between RMES (16 hours) and AA (24 hours).

Duties and responsibilities



Supervisory responsibilities

At AA supervise and mentor a team of approximately 3-4 high school students, providing guidance and project oversight in media and IT-related activities.

Physical demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, bend, stretch, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50-75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
