Position summary

Digital Media Arts student needed to assist in developing the Explore Michiana magazine.

Qualifications summary

Student should have a digital media arts background and be prepared to submit a resume, online portfolio, and references.

Duties and responsibilities

Student will redesign existing magazine template and create new designs as necessary.

Student will assist magazine editors in developing Explore Michiana in any other relevant capacity deemed necessary.

Supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications

Student must have taken Desktop Publishing and Photoshop courses and be comfortable working in a creative capacity.

Technical competencies

Student must have an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and general photography.

Interpersonal interactions

Student must be comfortable with interpersonal interactions involving phone, email, and face-to-face conversations.

Physical demands

Must be able to sit for at least 6 hours at a time.

Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.

Work environment

Student will work mostly on a computer in a quiet lab or office setting.
