Position summary

Resource cataloguers find resources suited for the Adventist Learning Community database. They acquire a copy of a resource, and review the resource in order to prepare a description of it and determine the meta-data necessary for upload. The resource is then uploaded to the ALC database.

Qualifications summary

Basic knowledge of computers, familiar with traditional web browsers, and competence with Microsoft Office. 

This position requires excellent teamwork and organizational skills.


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Resource cataloguers find resources suited for the Adventist Learning Community database. They acquire a copy of a resource, and review the resource in order to prepare a description of it and determine the meta-data necessary for upload. They then upload the resource to the ALC database.

Qualifications

Highschool diploma


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Technical competencies

Must have a working knowledge of computers and spreadsheets.

Must have the ability to learn new software.

Interpersonal interactions

Must be organized, punctual, flexible and work well with others.

Physical demands

Must be able to lift 25lbs

Work environment

Crowded office environment with the possibility of travel for work.
