   Campus Announcements
   Sat, August 29, 2015 @ 07:30 pm - 08:00 pm
    Howard Performing Arts Center

You are invited to attend a free concert by Jaime Jorge (see one of the posters attached) at Howard Performing Arts Center Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 7:30pm. A freewill offering will be taken during the concert to raise funds for building a church for one of the congregations where seminary students held evangelistic meetings in March of 2014. It is a very vibrant congregation that has had several baptism but have very limited financial resources.

It is called the Valero Church, and the facilities barely had walls. It was mostly wired together with sheets and plywood as a very improvised shelter for the people. Several seminary students have decided to do more than simply visiting and doing evangelism. This concert is one of several projects that they have decided to implement in order to raise $25,000 dollars, which it will take to build this congregation a representative house of worship.
