VITA Volunteers Needed!

Prepare Taxes For The Community!

The Highland Ave SDA Church partnering with the IRS will be operating a VITA Program this coming tax season for the Benton Harbor Community and we need volunteers. No experiences necessary only an interest in serving the community. 

The IRS VITA Program provides free tax preparation services for low income individuals and the elderly.

No experience necessary but ideal candidates are accounting students and anyone with some tax preparation experience. Training will be provided both on tax law and the tax software that will be used. The training will be provided by the IRS through their link and learn program online.

The program will run on Sundays from 1 to 5pm from February 2 to March 29, 2020 at the Highland Ave SDA Church in Benton Harbor.
