The 90-minute presentation will be followed by a discussion with Andrews faculty. The ASA is the oldest and largest organization for Christians in science in the United States. Ecklund is a professor of sociology at Rice University and author of several books on scientists’ attitudes toward faith as well as religious persons' attitudes towards science. Her newest book, “Why Science and Faith Need Each Other: Eight Shared Values that Move Us beyond Fear,” will be made available at no charge to all who register for free at <a href="https://network.asa3.org/events/EventDetails.aspx?id=1794617&group=">https://network.asa3.org/events/EventDetails.aspx?id=1794617&group=</a>. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
