Queen bed mattress topper (not pictured) Challenges…  July 2025 there was a huge thunderstorm; the trailer had never leaked before since we purchased it in 2023.  I opened the camper storage door about 10 days later and discovered standing water on the vinyl, but the damage was done and the slide-out floor and floor under the front left of the storage was soft.  They put cheap, 1/2” OSB in these things.  Upgrades continued: 6. Removed the whole slide-out and replaced the floor with treated 3/4” plywood.  7. Replaced left side center and front side floor with the plywood and vinyl flooring.  8. Covered entire slide-out underside with vinyl sheathing similar to that used on bathroom walls.  9. Secured the center slide track on the slide-out so it extends and retracts level instead of tilting as it did before.  10. Installed a $270 slide out vinyl cover that moves with the slide-out as it extends/retracts. This protects the top of the slide-out from rain.  Equipment  1. 2 burner stove in kitchen 2.
