Geraty. 2017 marks 50 years since the beginning of the Madaba Plains Project,  a major milestone in the Adventist archaeological community. This lecture will revisit Siegfried H. Horn's landmark publication The Spade Confirms the Book, and will examine the role of archaeology in Biblical studies today. This lecture is free and open to the public.
