Wed, 03 May 2023 19:27:50 +0000 Beds for Berrien http://www.andrews.edu/agenda/62590 On April 16, Pioneer Memorial Church is planning to provide beds for children in our community who don’t have any. Thanks to you, we've raised enough money to provide 40 beds to children in our community! We still need your help, though. Our greatest need right now is for more volunteers to help transport the beds and bedding to homes and assemble the bed frames for the families. We can use volunteers with and without vehicles, so if you're willing, please let us know! If you’re new, Grow Groups are a great way to make new friends, share in something you’re passionate about, and grow in your faith. This semester we’re offering over 30 different groups, so we know there’s one that will interest you.  And, students get co-curricular credit for attending any group gathering, but you have to register. If the answer is yes, I have some really good news for you because on Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. our Health and Wellness Ministry is launching Best Weigh. It’s a state-of-the-art program designed to help you lose weight and feel great, but here’s the catch: we only have 17 spots left. Then it's time to join a Grow Group. Grow Groups are a small group ministry on the campus of Andrews University. This fall we're offering over 35 unique groups ranging from an Ultimate Frisbee group to a Revelation Bible study group for youth.  And best of all, students receive co-curricular credit for attending any Grow Group gathering. Grow Groups are for EVERYONE—church members and nonmembers, local folks, and our friends around the world are all welcome to join. Right now we're looking for leaders for both in-person and online groups. If you are passionate about something and want to use that passion to foster community and lead others to Jesus, we can probably help you turn that passion into a Grow Group!
