We invite you to participate in our third annual 5K Lab Week Run &amp; Walk. This national event is sponsored by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science and the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences here at Andrews University. This event brings together medical laboratory professionals from the Michiana region to bring awareness of their contributions to health care. The 5K run/walk is self-timed, and it will begin by the Administration Drive side of the Science Complex (across from the Bookstore), taking you throughout our beautiful campus. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and the run begins promptly at 9 a.m. The first 15 people to register will receive a special gift from ASCLS. Registration is $15 until April 6 and $20 after. In additon to saying goodbye, we are also raising funds to help the flood victims of Berrien County. The route is mostly flat, circlng around the campus of Andrews University before returning to the finish line at the running track. Register today for a great family activity! All are welcome to participate. There will be cash prizes for the top three finishers.</p> <p> Engineers Without Borders is dedicated to deploying sustainable engineering solutions both locally and abroad--evidenced in our involvement in Benton Harbor's Habitat for Humanity construction projects and our international project in Ambatalampy, Madagascar. In May we will be traveling to Madagascar to assess our goal of implementing a solar microgrid to provide energy for the remote village.
