My short-term career goal is to work for an intergovernmental organization, a NGO or a firm involved in political advocacy, public policy, seeking to improve all of the major forces of change for the promotion and protection of human rights. ). I would be also interested in designing or managing program that help advance a targeted community. Ideally, I would like also utilizing my language skills (French).
In the summer 2015 I worked as an Intern Consultant in Antsahabe, Madagascar. I drafted and translated project proposal regarding Stateless in Madagascar for the European Commission. I also conducted research and policy writing for la Commision de l’Ocean Indien, dealing with gender promotion. Overall, working overseas was a great experience and my classes prepared me well in policy writing, program management and for research.
