Rubén Pérez-Schulz is an Assistant Professor of Spanish. He holds a B.A in Spanish Grammar and Literature from La Frontera University, in Temuco, Chile and a Master of Education from the University of Lethbridge, Canada. Professor Pérez-Schulz has worked in several Latin American countries and also English speaking countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States. In 2000 he received a Scholarship from the Chilean Government to study the Spanish Educational System in the Basque Country. He has been a Spanish teacher, Translator and Educational Administrator for more than fifteen years. He has translated and edited from English to Spanish several books in the areas of Health, Theology and Literature. The Adventist Chilean University has asked him to present lectures on Educational topics. Is married to Carolina Olivares-Muñoz and has two teenage daughters, Cristina and Daniela. He enjoys traveling, sports and reading.
