Spring Semester 2023

CIEP looks forward to having students on the campus of Andrews University for in-person instruction in Spring 2023. For those students who prefer to take classes remotely, we will offer an entirely online program, which can be taken from anywhere in the world. 

What are the CIEP Spring 2023 dates?

Dates of instruction: January 9 – May 4, 2023.
Registration deadline: January 9.
A required English Placement Test (EPT): November 29, January 3, 4, and 5.
A required CIEP Student Orientation: January 9.

What ESL classes are offered during CIEP Spring 2023?

We offer a full load of four courses in the CIEP Spring 2023. See the schedule of classes below.

Foundation Grammar Intermediate Grammar Advanced Grammar	Monday and Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 10:10 AM                       (dual synchronous*)
Foundation Reading & Writing  Intermediate Reading & Writing Advanced Reading & Writing	Monday – Thursday: 10:30 AM – 11:20 AM                     (dual synchronous)
Foundation Listening & Speaking Intermediate Listening & Speaking Advanced Listening & Speaking	Tuesday and Thursday: 8:30 AM – 10:10 AM                      (dual synchronous)
Conversational English	Monday – Thursday: 12:30 PM – 1:20 PM                     (dual synchronous)

*In person and remote instruction. Students on-campus register for the on-campus section of the course, and remote students register for the interactive online section of the course.

How much does it cost to take the CIEP Spring 2023?

You can take ESL classes through CIEP for $1780.00 USD per class (or a total of $5,340.00 for a full load of four classes) plus the general fee of $635.00 USD. You pay for three classes and get the fourth class for free (a total discount of $1,780.00).
